King’s College Budo Students Earn Bronze, Merit Award at International Mathematics Competition in Mongolia!
Nsibirwa Sira Jeremiah earned a 3rd place Bronze medal and Talindeka Kiguba Jethro a Merit Award as Uganda's 13-student delegation competed among more than 1,000 student mathematicians from 46 countries in Ulaanbaatar.

King's College Budo's Nsibirwa Sira Jeremiah clinched a 3rd place Bronze medal at the 2026 International Mathematics Competition held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Talindeka Kiguba Jethro, also from King's College Budo, won a Merit Award at the same tournament.

Thirteen students represented five Ugandan schools
The competition brought together over 1000 elite student mathematicians from across 46 participating countries.
The Ugandan delegation comprised 13 students from King's College Budo, Gayaza High School, Uganda Martyrs Namugongo, Ndejje Senior Secondary and St. Mary's College, Kisubi. The team was selected through the Uganda Maths Contest and the Uganda National Science Olympiad competitions organised by the Uganda Maths Society and the Science Olympiad Foundation Uganda respectively.
